Principles | Associates
 Sue Horan – |
Sue has been with the firm since its formation in 1984. She primarily provides staff accounting services in support of retirement plan administration and financial planning engagements. Her responsibilities include direct communications on a daily basis with plan sponsors and participants regarding contributions, distributions, and other plan operating issues. Prior to working for Horan & Barker, P.C. she taught accounting at Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois and St. Ambrose University, Davenport, Iowa. Her education includes a Masters of Taxation from DePaul University, a Masters in Accounting from the University of Iowa, and the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designations.
 Mary Brus – |
Mary provides staff tax services for individuals and small businesses. She also specializes in retirement plan administration focusing on plan document updates, compliance testing, contribution calculations and preparing Form 5500. Mary is a CPA with a degree from St. Ambrose University, Davenport, Iowa, and is a member of the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants. She has been with the firm since 1991.
 Kathy Furan – |
Katharina is the newest member of the team at Criterium Financial, Ltd. Kathy’s duties include coordinating all new accounts, organizing and updating all company sponsored retirement plans and communicating with the firm’s broker-dealer and custody agent. Kathy joins Criterium from W.G. Block Co. in Bettendorf where she worked as Administrative Assistant for the corporate executives. Kathy also has a broad range of experience in the banking industry.
 Linda A. Madsen – |
Linda is responsible for the day to day internal administrative functions for Horan & Barker, P.C. She also performs a variety of client related services, including payroll, payroll tax reporting, and other bookkeeping functions. Linda serves as Administrative Assistant to Bill Barker and has been with Horan & Barker, P.C. since its inception in 1984.
